Three Cheers for the National USDA Hemp Team

Do you know the saying “like drinking water from a fire hydrant”?  It is the phrase we sometimes use when we have so much information coming our way that we can barely get a sip yet we perservere.  Standing up a national hemp program at USDA would be like drinking water from a fire hydrant for most of us but not for Bill Richmond and his A-Team.  Considering that industrial hemp in the United States has been in Rip Van Winkle mode for 75 years, coupled with tons of rule making, registrations, licensing, state hemp plan approvals these folks have done the industry a great service.  We were pleased to connect with the team on their first “USDA Hemp Road Show” this week and it was obvious they have done their homework.  A job well done for sure.
